During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Egypt showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Data sourced from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends for these popular apps.

McDonald's saw significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, peaking at around 86.3K in mid-March before dropping to 16.2K by the end of the month. Active users also experienced a decline, starting from 585.6K at the beginning of the quarter and falling to approximately 250.4K by the end of March.

KFC Egypt - Order Food Online exhibited a downward trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads started strong at 97.5K in late December but dropped to around 15K by the end of March. Similarly, active users decreased from 511.3K to about 262.5K over the same period.
